About the event
For the second year running, I am offering this 4 hour half day retreat; teaching you all about how to sleep well. This is a condnesed version of a highly sucessful 6 week course I ran at The Florrie, Liverpool last year.Â
Free Gift of a PenJaLi Yoga 'Eye Pillow' - a wonderful accessory to help you to sleep. Eye pillows block out  light; helping you to produce melatonin - the sleep hormone. The weight stimulates the vagus nerve which helps you relax, and it contains buckwheat and lavender, a relaxing aromatherapy scent.
Who will benefit from the workshop?
- Anyone suffering from Insomnia
- Anyone who wakes up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep
- Anyone who wakes up in the early hours and can't get back to sleep
- Anyone sleeping less than 7 hours a night (this is a bare minimum requirement)
- Maybe you don't suffer from sleep problems and just want to learn how to relax
What to expect in the workshop:
- Learn sleep hacks, tricks, tips and sleep hygiene practices
- Learn how to go back to sleep when you wake up in the middle of the night
- Learn about sleep hygiene: what do do and not to do for a better nights sleep
- Gentle flow and Yin style (passive and floor based with longer holds) yoga routine and poses to ease you into sleep mode
- Pranayama/breathing to sooth your nervous system
- Meridian points/acupressure to help you sleep
- Long Yoga Nidra/Yogic Sleep Meditation (access to recording afterwards)
- Sleep friendly snacks
- Suitable for all levels and complete beginners to yoga
- Free gift: a yoga eye pillow filled with lavender and buck wheat.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra for around 40 minutes. Yoga Nidra can be a deeply relaxing practice bringing about a trance like altered state of consciousness in which we are in between sleep and wakefulness. You don’t need to do anything as I will guide you through the practice. You simply receive the nidra.
